Council letter says they are owed £27.000.00

Claim top Flat charge is £17.000.00 

Council did no works to Top flat Plus leasehold was insured by Mr Tagg

Ground flats charge is £10,000

Asked why they never took Winton the freeholder to court for money say did not think they had any money lie by Mr R. Harries as knew after Crown sold Wintons land in London had some £50.000.00 spare after other creditors had been paid out.

Lewes could have claimed this from the Crown Estate but did not why????

Top Flat charge as we understand the Council did no works to it.

Or if a claim was made it was insured by Mr Tagg the leaseholder moved to live in Nottingham and the house he owned was paid for was worth around £110.000.00. So if money was owed it could have been claimed.

Note Mr Tagg paid £25.000.00 for put on market in 1988 at £48.000.00 did not sell until 1996 8 years later for £5.000.00 still owing £25.000.00 which he still has to pay off.

Mr Tagg had the Flat insured all the time he owned it .???

 Mr R. Harries said there where keeping the charge on the building to get us out???.
